The Akashic recorder

There's no hiding from the Ibis

The God Thoth had his cult centre based in the town of Hermopolis.  The Greeks later changed his name to Hermes.  Thoth represents the principles of Hermeticism.  He is the recorder of the emotions you create.  This is done by way of heart.

Each beat you make creates an energetic imprint on that particular space in time.  This record is now better known as the akashic record.

Everything is an analogy in Egyptian mythology.  The Ibis bird is special in that it wades in mud, but can also fly at enormous heights.  This is the same as human emotions.  We can produce sludgy, heavy hate energy, or light (bright), light (weight) love energy.

Your the akashic record is weighed upon death, to ensure overall - your heart, and therefore life - has been light as a feather.

The Beauty of Being

Kindness equals beauty

Your essence was what made you beautiful in Egypt. The word meant more than beauty, but rather a perfection of being. To do that was with good words and actions. How you acted was what made you a beautiful person.

The western world has lost this definition of beauty, where we align it with make-up, hair, clothing and actual looks, ie – the genes you were born with.

Honouring beauty as kindness is what made Egypt magical for thousands of years. They encouraged each other to find perfection in being.

The Egyptians put a lot of pride on good moral behaviour. By being the greatest version of themselves, they were able to go back to the creator at death. Aligning kindness with a lightness of being, the feather was worn to visibly show people that they were kind, and honoured good moral behaviour. This is much like how Christians wear crosses today to visibly show their belief system.

Many of the symbols in Egypt were ‘borrowed’ reworked and represented to the World to mean something different to the west. Not coincidentally, the trachea looks like a cross. Sow words like seeds. That’s what Jesus said.

Give to receive

A 3,000 year model

The ancient Egyptians believed it was an honour to be born. It was a duty to make the most of our lives. They prided themselves on kindness, which is why their laws and ethics relied on bringing joy to others, and helping where possible.

Ancient tombs are the worlds first autobiographies. Memorialised in time, are carved stories expressing how giving they’d been. They understood that what you gave, you received. They gave as if their lives depended on it.

The Egyptians lived and thrived for at least 3,000 years. In less than half of that time we have expanded to almost every part of earth, sprinkling pollution along the way. Every human has plastic components within their brain, and the level of greed and selfishness is at an absurd extreme. While we have people living off pennies, there are a handful of goats who have hoarded away half of the World. We are now living at a time when things are the exact opposite of Pharaonic Egypt.

The Egyptians believed we needed to live within nature. Part of that was in caring about the plants and animals, honouring the sea and waterways, but most importantly, be the person you want to meet.

The Egyptians were so kind and loving, this ended up working against them. They were first taken over by a foreign race in 1,650 BC (Hyksos). The Exodus was the Egyptians banishing this foreign entity, who had been in control for 100 years. Speaking of the Exodus, in the Bible there are multiple examples of the Egyptians kindness being taken advantage of. Just one example was the Pharoah taking in Sarah, whom Abraham had lied about being his sister.  A curious start to a new religion.

The rhythm of your heart

17/06 Give it a weigh

The complex belief system of the Egyptians is all about heart. Your beat (each one) was recorded in life, for weighing in death.

They considered love light, due to the fluttering joy you feel, and hate heavy resulting in blood pressure changes.  This is why they thought of the heart as the brain, because how you think impacts how it works.

The word for heart was IB 𓄣 due to the sound it makes. Because of the hearts recording abilities, they referred to it as a vessel. Your truth-teller. The heart can’t lie.

They placed zen and truth on a pedestal, for a peaceful rhythm.

The word for beauty also depicted a heart (and wind-pipe). Nfr 𓄤 was of paramount importance. In western society we have aligned beauty with looks, but the Egyptians more-so aligned it with beauty of character. A light heart.

Upon death, at the weighing scene, if your heart were light like the feather, you were absorbed back into the frequency of source. Should your heart be heavy, you were dragged back to matter, to find yourself recreated within the frequency you recorded, to experience the life you subjected others to.

When you realise you meet yourself, it is only then that you really meet yourself. The oneness of being.

Three Wise Men

16/06 Seeking a Star in Bethlehem

The three wise men were Zoroastrians. Fire worshipping astrologers from what we now know as Iran.

Honouring Ahura Mazda, their beliefs took on a three-way approach.

1: Good thoughts for the mind

2: Good words for the soul

3: Good deeds for the body

Focusing on aligning these three concepts together helps us build harmonies within. All three factors need to be in good health, for our overall happiness.

The three wise men, as featured in the Bible, were indeed astrologers. They were seeking the star, and we find terms like ‘a star is born’. Not coincidentally, but controversially, I believe there is a direct linkage to the birth of Jesus (the mythological portion) and the return of Halley’s comet.

Appearing in 12BC, before the Christian movement, and showing itself again in 66AD, right before the destruction of Jerusalem, this astrological phenomenon features in historical text. Hidden in riddle, and sprinkled in misdirection, I believe the Zoroastrians were seeking Halley’s comet, and ended up finding a nativity scene.

The gifts they gave also came in threes. A solid (Gold). A liquid (resin – Frankincense). A smoke (incense – Myrrh). This atomic connection is something we’ll explore deeper another day.

Fasting for Source Energy

15/06 Eating habits from our ancestors

Fasting has been a human tradition for thousands of years. Almost every major religion ritualistically fasts. Another tradition we find handed to us from the time of the ancient Egyptians.

Assuming there are universal energies, and these energies flow through us, it does makes sense there would be better flow of current, if the system was free and clear of blockages.

In efforts to keep my system free and clear, I fast nightly. After dinner, I don’t eat again until after 10am. That’s nearly sixteen hours for my body to finish digesting the day before, before adding a new day worth of food.   Once a fortnight, I push this to an 18 hours.

Meats are the most difficult foods for our body to digest. It does take a lot of personal energy to digest. This is the energy the ancients believed could be harnessed for better use.

Small changes in your diet here and there can be all it takes to feel more energetic. Not necessarily less eating, but having more control over intervals.

Drawn out

14/06 Manifestation destination

Believing images held the essence of what was portrayed, the Egyptians displayed what they wanted to attract. This is often why what is shown can be absurdly disproportioned.

In the earlier kingdoms, they were wishing for an abundance of sun, an abundance of water from the Nile, and just in general, blessings from the Gods. They were terrified of Nile wildlife, which is why you find images of people roping hippo, or crocodile.

By 1,500BC +/- they were invaded, and ruled by a completely foreign race. They HAD to become more war-like and change their ways. After this time images change to show the Egyptians humiliatingly restraining their aggressive neighbours.

If we did manifest just by looking at something provocative, what is being materially built in your home? Lots of people have city-scenes, or animals of prey displayed. Storms and lightening are also popular. I used to have a joke plate on my wall that said “I overthink everything”, and at that time – I  did. I gave that plate to the op-shop, but in hindsight, I should have smashed it.

The Egyptians believed there was a lot of power to wield from the Universe. They have proven through their superior building and craftsmanship, that this energy in some capacity must exist. Why don’t you try and capture some of it today.

The resurrected sun

12/06/26 The cycle of change

The shortest day is nearly here. Mythologically, this was a time of death. Death of this sun cycle. The shortest day isn’t one day, but almost three. Beginning at sundown, the sun lays still in the sky, rising & falling at the same time. We then celebrated longer days as a resurrection.

The northern and southern hemispheres are both simultaneously moving into cycles of change. These are principles of hermeticism, where each half experiences opposites of one another, until we’re balanced at the equinox.

The Egyptians studied the sun as we note a calendar. Using architecture to show what time of the year it was, sun worship is literally built into the minds of the ancient inhabitants. Columns and archways acted as cycle-keepers.

Many of the Egyptian ways and mythological stories ended up making it to the west, but the direct linkage to the sun has been lost in time. Studying both ancient Egyptian text and western traditions, there are remarkable similarities between the beliefs of the two cultures, separated by thousands of years.

Sol Journey

11/06 Magnetise the light

Honouring the sun and cycles, many of Egypt’s creation stories involving Osiris, Isis (brother & Sister, husband & wife) and Horus (Son & Sun), tell the tale of the sun.

Honouring the sol journey, brought that light energy within. If we took all the space out from between the atoms, materially, the sun sits atop up. In relation to the size of the Universe, we have a very close relationship to the sun.

In the same way that a magnet works, by thinking about something, you draw attention to it. By drawing attention to it, what you are thinking gets attracted. If you think of the sun, you gain more nourishment from the sun. If we don’t think about something, we don’t attract it. This also works in the negative. That’s why it’s so important to have a light mood. An easy way to do this is by thinking about the sun just a few times a day. Try to bask in a few moments of sunlight as you do this exercise.

Keep in mind that only the sun and stars produce light. The planets and moon only shine under the reflection of the sun. A mirror so to speak. Avoid the mirrors for those that don’t need one.

Messaging from the Gods

10/06 Dream of meeting Gods

Believing the Gods were sending them direct messages, the Egyptians put a lot of importance on dreams. Believing we were more than matter, and holding internal forces within (Ba and Ka), these imprints of you, were able to venture about at night.

In an astral plane, outside of our physical dimension, the Egyptians believed was the place to commune with other spirits. This landing zone was also a common ground where even higher dimensions can meet. Because it is not a physical place, for energy to enter, it does not need to solidify.  This landing zone was the place you talked to ‘Gods’.

A legend spanning millennia is the story of Thuthmose IV famous dream. He started the national restoration of the Sphinx, after claiming he was directly told to by the Gods to do it during slumber.  This is talked about in detail, with a plaque between the Sphinx paws sharing the details of his famous dream.

If and when you remember your dreams. Ask yourself, what could this be telling me? Were you in a place of authority, or victimhood? Was it a happy experience, or did you escape a situation? By simply thinking about your experience, and drawing attention to it, it will become easier to interpret.

IMPORTANT:  Tell yourself you dream every night, and that you remember your dreams. You’ll be astounded at how helpful using the word is, at improving areas of your life.

The Blueprint for Solomons Temple

09/06 It's in the essence

All ancient cultures and religions in the vicinity of Lebanon honoured their cedars. Their strong trees were valuable currency. The tree wasn’t just for wood, but for essence.

Essential oils were liquid gold. Revered by the Egyptians as Gods gift, and eventually banned by the Catholic church, these pure scents were used in rituals to connect with God. Solomons temple wasn’t just a blueprint for a physical building, but a recipe of oils to commune with the divine.

Oils need to be introduced slowly. The carrier oil mentioned in Kings is Olive oil. This oil is fine, but ensure it is of the finest quality.  Do some research yourself, but my favourite is rosehip. This carrier oil  also doubles as mild natural UV protection. You do not need to use a lot of essential oil to receive the benefit. Start with a 1 drop essential oil to 100 of carrier oil. IE - just a few drops in a bottle of carrier oil. Eventually work your way up to 10%.

The essential oils listed are a good foundation.  When it mentions flowers, you should decide upon which are most beneficial to you, whether that be for the health benefits, or the warming feeling you get from wearing the scent.  I like the smell of ylang ylang and lavender.  Two good starter essential oils.

It is a costly exercise getting set up, but oils last a very long time.  Years!  Please ensure you are shopping with the planet in mind.  Shop local, from a small family owned company.  If possible buy organic.  The effort you put in to make a better World will help to make your World better.

I no longer buy any beauty products, and make them all at home using oils.  My skin and body is healthier for it, my soul appreciates the introduction of nature inside my body, which soothes my mind.  A good practice all round.

By bringing the essence of nature within, you held that piece of nature in your heart. The reason the cedar was so revered was that it grew strong, it grew tall, and grew towards the sun.

Put some soul in it

Walk away your woes

There are many tricks the Egyptians used to take power over issues or concerns they were facing. Many of these tricks are easy, and can be done today.

To take command of a problem they did this by writing what they needed to take command of on the bottom of their shoes, and walking over them. Aligning thought with action, makes the action more powerful, thus increasing its ability to work.

Try this today. What are you trying to overcome? A health concern? Additional weight? A dominant aggressor? Either just write the term you are overcoming, for example fat, cancer, ‘name of aggressor’, OR use terms that puts your issue in the past. Dissolved fat, dead virus, removed bacteria.

Think about what you want to remove from your life. Use a little bit of magic and put your own spin on the task. For example, try using a pen and colours you don’t like.  Re-write your words daily, and think about how powerful the task you are doing will be.

We are powerful beings who hold so much ability to manifest. We must reawaken our senses and take command over our lives again.

Overcoming Trauma

Break the cycle of trauma for better health

Illness isn’t just a random thing that happens, but a message from the Universe. The message can be as simple as needing to take better care of yourself through better quality food, and increasing exercise. Occasionally the messages are harder to interpret and more difficult to get to the bottom of.

We all hold within us trauma.  It's how we digest it that matters. How we manage trauma in our lives, mimics the way we are able to deal with illness. If you hold onto stress and struggles, this is the trauma living within your system causing physical manifestations through sickness. The best way to avoid illness, is to ensure you are of sound mind emotionally.

Trauma can put us in places we don’t know how to escape. Trauma can be anything from losing a loved one through death or conflict, losing a job or losing a house. Typically, it comes from the loss of something we held near and dear. This is why the Buddhists teach the importance of not clinging to worldly attachments. By mastering this art, you no longer suffer from the trauma of loss. This is easy to say, and  difficult to master.

Relieving ourselves of trauma begins with understanding what happened. Assess what happened with all emotion removed. Break down your experience into tiny digestible portions. Forgive yourself first and foremost for feeling the way you do. Lessons come in all shapes and sizes. The second phase is to work the trauma out of your cells. Decide the best way for you, because we are all unique, and YOU hold your own type of magic within.

Some ideas include:

Imagining your trauma away.

Writing your traumas and burning them.

Making a craft that represents your trauma and destroy it.

Physically destroying something that represents your trauma is a powerful exercise you should try today. Sometimes things need to break, to be put back together again properly.

Let love feed you

The finest fuel

If you were what you ate, what would you be? The ancients considered fresh produce gifts from the Gods. Because foods were mostly seasonal, we appreciated the harvest.

Our personal relationship with food, and gratitude for its nourishment, has fractured our link to Earth. The love and appreciation for the growth cycle nourished our body energetically, as much as the minerals and vitamins from the food itself.

Try planting a seed to watch your nourishment grow. Make your love feed you.

Many of the foods we consume today work against us in two ways:

Physically, they’re often full of chemicals. These can be used during the growth phase to promote speed of production, or kill bugs, or during the processing phase to improve shelf-life and increase longevity.

Energetically, the foods we eat today are often low vibration. Many of our foods come from the result of something being caged and held against its will. Then forced to constantly produce. We need to break the cycle of exploitation for nourishment.

We also eat and drink foods with names that evoke negative connotations. For example, Monster, Death Liquid, Red Bull just to name a few.

Change doesn’t need to happen quickly. One small difference here and there can start to make a world of difference in your daily life. Good health starts at home.
